Dr. Ramsawak is currently a Senior Lecturer and Director of the Economics Program at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Based in Vietnam, Dr. Ramsawak directs RMIT’s Economics programs in Asia where the Australian University has 3 campuses. RMIT 17 awards in education by various governments in Asia. He also directed the Center for Strategy and Competitiveness at the Arthur Lok Jack School of Business in the Caribbean and served as Managing Director of the same business school in Guyana. He has been a consultant for several Caribbean countries and for multilateral organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank and CAF. He has also been a professor at Clark University in Boston and has published several research papers in peer-reviewed journals on economic and social development in urban and city/small country contexts.
