Recognition to Marisabel Nájera, Chancellor of Panamerican Business School and Panamerican University, for her extensive career in educational innovation in the Latin American region.
Marisabel Nájera, Chancellor of Panamerican University, Panamerican Business School and American Foundation for Development and Entrepreneurship (FUNDADE) was honored with an Honoris Causa Doctorate by the World Leaders Organization, OMLID, S.C., in recognition of her outstanding career and impact on higher education in Latin America, a testimony of the commitment she has to academic excellence and social responsibility. The investiture ceremony took place on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 in the Auditorium of the Museo Galería Arte Mexiquense Torres Bicentenario, in Toluca, Mexico.
During the ceremony, it was highlighted how Dr. Nájera has facilitated access to world-class education for thousands of students, in addition to supporting them step by step until they achieve the completion of their studies. In a region that has one of the lowest participation and graduation rates in higher education.
In her 24 years at the head of Panamerican Business School, Dr. Nájera has been an example of dedication and vocation, demonstrating a deep commitment to education as a life-transforming force. Within a business atmosphere where women’s participation is an exception, she has managed to turn great challenges into enormous opportunities, transforming frontiers into new horizons.
She has led innovative initiatives in collaboration with leading companies, creating strategic alliances that have expanded the scope and impact of Panamerican Business School, an institution that in 2022 was recognized as #1 in Latin America and top 3 in the world for its excellence in internationalization by the Zairi-UNESCO awards in Dubai.
Scholarship agreements have been established with several governments in the region through FUNDADE, aiming to change the destiny of thousands of people by 2030 with the mission of training ethical leaders with advanced technical and technological skills, hence providing them with the opportunity for employability in their countries, thereby contributing to mitigating the immigration issue.
We congratulate our leader, Dr. Marisabel Nájera for this great distinction. We are sure that her vocation, vision and leadership will continue to impact and transform the hearts, minds and lives of thousands of people.
