Flavio Solano

PhD D in Marketing, Texas A&M University.
MBA, Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico).
Bachelor of Science, Chemical Engineering, Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico).

Dr. Solano worked for 34 years at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla, where he was Dean of the School of Business and Director of Consulting. He has participated in plenary conferences in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. His areas of specialization are Services Marketing, Internal Marketing, International Marketing, Individual Social and Corporate Social Responsibility and Emotional Ecology. Dr. Solano has been president of two of the most important societies in Latin America, SLADE (Latin American Strategy Society) and CLADEA (Latin American Council of Management Schools), he is currently President of the Mexico Chapter of SLADE, Representative for Region 2 of CLADEA which includes: Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. Dr. Solano is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Puebla Community Foundation and a member of the advisory board of the Center for International Business Studies of the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
