Dr. Vásquez has led the World Politics research group at Bielefeld University, has been Director of the Commission of Cooperation for the documentation of the history of the Peruvian armed forces, as well as researcher at the National Museum of Anthropology of Peru. She has taught at several universities around the world such as the University of Hagen and has published 3 books on the role of history in the development of global politics.
