Dr. Román is a pioneer consultant of excellence in the Dubai Police. He is also a professor of Management Control and Process Management at the University of Chile. Dr. Román has been a visiting professor at international universities, University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates; University of Piura, Peru; Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, Chile; UDEM, Mexico, University of Lleida, Spain and Panamerican Business School, Guatemala. He also leads a global management consulting firm specializing in customer satisfaction, process management, Benchmarking and Total Quality Management. Dr. Román has worked under the Baldridge System of Business Excellence scheme supporting three companies to win the Total Quality award at a national level. He has 8 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is an international evaluator of the Baldridge training program, a member of the scientific council of the Dubai Police and a member of the editorial board of the Quality Management Forum.
